1 16 oz. pkg. pasta (corkscrew, orzo, elbow, penne or spaghetti)
1 stick butter
1 small onion, diced (optional)
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup grated Romano,Parmesan or Greek Myzithra cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions in salted water. Drain.

Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium high heat until softened and beginning to brown (about 3 minutes).

Add the ground beef to onion mixture. Continue cooking until browned and fully cooked. Add cinnamon and salt and pepper. Stir to coat.

Place pasta and ground beef in a large bowl.

Brown the remaining butter in the same skillet over medium high heat stirring constantly until the butter turns a light brown. (This step is optional, I do not add butter.)

Remove from heat immediately and pour over pasta and ground beef. Add in the cheese and toss.
