3 cups fresh basil
1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves
1/2 shredded parmesan cheese
Kosher salt and black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients to the food processor (keeping the 2 tablespoons olive oil off to the side) and run on low and continue to high as you slowly add the remaining olive oil. Stop to scrape down the sides of the food processor. Process until it's the consistency you like.

Fresh pesto will last 5-7 days in the fridge. Or, freeze it for up to 4 months.
