Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and espresso powder. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat the butter until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute. Gradually add the sugar and beat until well combined, about 2 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

On low speed, add bananas and vanilla, beating just until combined. Add the flour mixture in three additions, alternating with sour cream. Begin and end with the flour. Mix just until combined.

Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into pan.

Bake 55-60 minutes or until done.

Espresso Ganache Frosting:
In a small saucepan, combine 3/4 cup heavy cream and 2 tsp espresso powder. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once at a boil, immediately remove from heat and stir in 1 Tbsp butter. Pour cream over 1 1/4 cup chopped semi-sweet chocolate. Let stand for 1 minute to melt the chocolate, then whisk smooth with a metal spoon or rubber spatula. Cover the surface of the frosting with plastic wrap and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until firm enough to spread.
