Main Ingredients

1 can English peas (drained)
1 can cut green beans (drained)
1 can white shoe peg corn (drained)
2 Oz pimento (drained- optional)
½ cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped bell pepper
½ cup chopped onion

May use drained kidney beans, black beans, or other canned beans if desired.

Dressing

1 cup sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
¾ cup vinegar

Directions:

Place all main ingredients in a heat-resistant bowl so hot dressing may be poured over it.

In a pot, bring dressing to a rolling boil. Cool slightly and pour over vegetables. Sald is much better if made the day before so it can marinate well. Salad will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
