1 c. butter
1½ c. brown sugar
3 eggs
¾ tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
2¾ c. flour
1 lb. dates, chopped
1 c. raisins
8 oz. candied cherries, chopped
4 slices candied pineapple, chopped
3 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and brown sugar; add eggs, beating well after each addition. Dredge chopped fruit and nuts in dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350º oven for 10 minutes or until browned.
