1 c. corn oil
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
½ tsp. soda
¼ tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oil, butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Add vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
CHILL OVERNIGHT. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325º until light brown around edges, 8 to 10 minutes.
