3/4 C Land of Lakes butter, softened
3/4 C powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 C finely chopped pistachios or cashews

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and powdered sugar until well mixed. Add egg, and beat well. Reduce speed to low, add flour and salt. Beat until well mixed. Add nuts to dough. Form into log and chill for at least an hour. Then slice into 1/4-inch slices and bake. Place 1 1/2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sanding sugar.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 7-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to wire rack. Cool completely.
