1 c. buttermilk
2 c. sugar
½ tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. flour
1 stick butter, melted
3 eggs

Beat thoroughly. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Cook in 450º oven for 10 minutes. Lower oven to 350º and continue baking for 35 minutes.

I gave this recipe to Ginger in 1976. When she wrote it down, she put 1 cup of butter, but it was supposed to be 1 stick of butter. Sometimes, I add 1 Tbsp. lemon juice to mine. I bake mine at 350º for 45 minutes to keep it from getting too brown.
