4 cod fillets (6 ozs each)
¼ cup butter or margarine
2 Tbsp lemon juice or Juice of 1 lemon
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp of minced garlic
1 Tbsp of freshly chopped parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
Lemon slices, additional parsley to garnish

Preheat oven to 400º. Lightly grease a baking dish.
Arrange cod fillets in baking dish. Season with salt & pepper.
In bowl, mix melted butter, lemon juice, garlic & chopped parsley. Pour over cod fillets.
Bake in preheated oven 12-15 min until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with lemon slices & additional parsley before serving.

NOTES
Ensure cod fillets are thawed completely if using frozen.
Adjust lemon juice to taste for more or less tanginess.
Can substitute with other white fish like haddock or tilapia.
