1/2 Cup Butter Flavor Crisco
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Cups All- purpose Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Cup Buttermilk
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375ºF. Grease baking sheet. Combine and sugar in large bowl. Beat at medium of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and salt. Add alternatively with buttermilk to cream mixture at low speed. Mix well after each addition. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut with floured 2 1/2 inch round cutter. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
