1 pound ground beef
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 package onion soup mix
3 cups boiling water
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup macaroni, cooked and drained
Parmesan cheese

  1. Crumble beef into slow cooker. Add pepper, oregano, basil, seasoned salt, and onion soup mix.

  2. Stir in boiling water, tomato sauce, and soy sauce.

  3. Add celery and carrots.

  4. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.

  5. Turn control to high, add cooked macaroni.

  6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top to serve.

I use 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning in place of the oregano and basil.


I sometimes use 1 cup of potatoes added with celery and carrots instead of the macaroni.
