1 1/2 lbs round steak, cut into strips
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup oil
1 egg
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the flour, salt and pepper on a sheet of waxed paper.
Pound the steaks to 1/4-inch thick with a meat mallet, dredge in the flour, then pound as much flour into each strip as possible.
Beat the egg and milk together in a shallow dish.
Dip the meat into the egg mixture, then the remaining flour.
Brown the steak strips in hot oil in a large skillet on one side.
Turn, cover and reduce heat.
Cook for 30 minutes, until tender.
