3 pounds ground beef
1 large yellow onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup Burgundy wine
3 cups water
1/2 green onion
1 teaspoon horseradish
2 tomatoes
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate square
1 can red beans
1 package grated cheddar cheese
1 pound spaghetti
1 yellow onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:

  1. Brown ground beef in a Dutch oven or pot.

  2. Add chopped onion and garlic to ground beef as it cooks.

  3. Cook until dry and add Burgundy; let cook until boiling.

  4. Add all remaining ingredients except red beans, spaghetti, the other yellow onion, and grated cheese. Simmer for a couple of hours.



Amount of spices can be changed to suit. The chili can be served 5 ways (and in any combination you wish):


1 Way: Chili by itself.


2 Way: Chili on the cooked spaghetti.


3 Way: Chili on spaghetti topped with cheese.


4 Way: Chili, spaghetti, cheese and raw onions.


5 Way: Chili, spaghetti, cheese, raw onions and red beans.
