1 lb. round steak, cut in cubes
1 large clove garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pint tomatoes
1 sprig parsley
salt to taste
˝ tsp each of cloves, sage, allspice, cinnamon, red pepper and black pepper
Oil for cooking
Cooked elbow macaroni, about 8 oz. dry weight

In a deep skillet or sauté pan, brown beef with garlic and onions in a little oil. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer one hour, until beef is tender. Add water if it gets dry. Serve over cooked macaroni.
