1&1/ cup flour
2/3 cup lard
2 beaten eggs
3 T. whole milk
2 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped walnuts
Crushed Cornflakes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
In a large bowl, cream lard and sugar. Beat in eggs and stir in milk. Mix dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Add chopped dates and nuts. Drop by tsp. into dish of crushed cornflakes and roll until covered.
Bake on parchment lined or greased cooky sheet for 8-10 minutes
