4 or 5 pork chops, cut ½ inch thick
salt and pepper to season
1 can condensed Cream of Mushroom or Golden mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper in the base of a skillet to season the chops, no shortening needed. Brown the chops on both sides, then place them in a casserole dish. Pour mushroom soup over chops and cover. Place in oven and cook for 45 minutes. Alternately, place in slow cooker on low for about 4 hours.
