10-11 potatoes boiled in skins till barely tender. Peel, then slice or grate. Or use 2 packages of frozen shredded hash browns thawed.
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
¼ cup butter
⅓ cup diced onion
2 cups grated cheese
1 cup cornflake crumbs, mixed with 2 Tbsp. melted butter.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook or thaw potatoes and put in a 9x13 pan. Mix soup, sour cream. butter, onions and cheese together and pour over potatoes and mix well. Top with the cornflake crumbs mixed with the melted butter. Cover with tin foil and bake at 350º for 30 mins. Remove tin foil last ten minutes to crisp the cornflakes.
Can be made night before and refrigerate and bake next day.
