Starter: 1 gallon glass jar
9 T. instant potatoes
2½ C. sugar
3 C. warm water
2 packages yeast

Pour into a jar and stir with wooden spoon.

Feed once a week:
¾ C. sugar
3 T. instant potatoes
1 C. warm water
1 package yeast (every other week)

Directions:

Let first ingredients stand 4 hours then you may make bread or refrigerate covered.
Add ingredients each week.
After adding to starter, let stand 4 hours then make bread or refrigerate.
