3 cups flour
2 1/2 cups sugar
3 tsp baking powder
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup oil
3 apples peeled and sliced thin
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix flour, 2 cups of sugar and baking powder with eggs, oil and juice. Add vanilla. Pour half of the dough into a 10 inch tube or bundt pan.
Arrange a layer of apples on top.(but keep about 1/2 apples for later).
Combine the cinnamon, nuts, raisins, and 1/2 cup of sugar and sprinkle 1/2 of this mixture on top of the apples. Pour in the remaining batter; top with the remaining apple slices and sprinkle remaining sugar mixture on top.
Baked for 1. 5 hours
