Directions for Barbecue Shrimp
Peel and devein the shrimp. Place shrimp in bowl and coat with MGSC Cajun Seasoning. In a large skillet or saucepan, melt 4T butter and olive oil. Sear the shrimp on each side approximately 1 minute per side. Remove the shrimp and set aside. Add the beer or wine to the pan and let it simmer to deglaze the pan. Add the Lemon, Worcestershire, hot sauce, rosemary and green onion. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Add the frozen pats of butter one at a time, waiting until each one melts. Keep the sauce moving to create a thicker, creamy Sauce. Add shrimp, and cook until done, about 2 minutes. Do not overcook the shrimp. Serve immediately over Grits or toasted French Bread.
