1 Quart of Water
1 Tablespoon of Beef Base
1/4 Cup Barley
3 Sliced Carrots
3 Stalks of Celery Chopped
1 Large Onion Chopped
1 15 1/2 ounce Can of Corn
1 15 1/2 ounce Can of Green Beans
1 15 1/2 ounce can Chopped Tomatoes
2 Cups Frozen Green Peas
1 Large Can of Vegetable Juice (preferably V-8)
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Basil
1 Teaspoon Thyme
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 Cups of Potatoes Peeled, Cooked and Cubed.

Directions:
In a Large Soup Pot, place Water, Beef Base, and Barley. Cook 10 - 15 Minutes. While cooking, chop Carrots, Celery and Onion. Add all other ingredients except potatoes. Cook about 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add Potatoes and continue to simmer until serving.
