1¼ C sugar
1 C flour
½ C cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ C milk
⅓ C butter
1½ tsp vanilla
½ C brown sugar
1¼ C hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine ¾ cup sugar, flour, ¼ cup cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Melt butter. Add milk, butter, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into ungreased 9-inch square baking pan. Combine ½ cup sugar, brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa. Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. DO NOT STIR! Bake 35-40 minutes or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 minutes. Spoon into dishes, making sure to spoon the sauce from bottom of pan. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.

This recipe always amazes me! I put it in with hot liquid on the top and it ends up with liquid (pudding) in the bottom and a crust on the top. Science is so cool, just wish I knew more about it. :)
