Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 ball of pizza dough (I usually use Dad’s recipe but have also used refrigerated store bought dough)

Butter

Olive oil

Minced garlic

Kosher salt

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Optional: dried or fresh herbs such as basil, oregano, or parsley, Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450° and spray a sheet pan with cooking spray. Stretch your dough out to fit the sheet pan as best as possible, then prick dough all over with a fork.

2. Melt butter in a small bowl, then stir in olive oil, salt, minced garlic, and dried herbs if using. Amounts of all of these ingredients will vary according to your own preferences, so taste a bit of this mixture and adjust if needed before moving on to the next step.

3. Brush the melted butter mixture all over the dough and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake until dough is baked through and cheese is starting to brown, 10-15 minutes. Let cool slightly, then cut into squares and serve.

Optional: Immediately upon removing from oven, sprinkle top of bread with grated Parmesan and chopped fresh herbs.

Personal Notes:
I improvised this recipe one night when I went to make pizza and realized I didn’t have any sauce. My whole family devoured it and now we like to make it as a side when we have pizza nights.
