Prepare the syrup of:
1 cup Sugar
2 cups Water
½ cup Butter
Bring to a boil

For Batter:
1 cup Flour
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Milk
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Nuts(walnuts)
½ cup Raisins

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly the batter ingredients while the syrup is coming to a boil.

2. Pour the boil syrup into a 9x13 baking dish.

3. Drop the batter by spoonful into the boiling syrup.

4. Bake at 425º until batter is cooked and golden brown.

5. Serve with whipped cream.
