1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar and the eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Shape dough into rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.

Mix 2 T. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon in small bowl. Roll balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from baking sheet. Enjoy.
