12 cabbage leaves
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup cooked rice
1 onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Blanch the cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes or until soft. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, rice, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly.
Place a portion of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Roll up, tucking in the ends, and secure with toothpicks.
In a small bowl, mix the tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour a little of the sauce into the bottom of a baking dish.
Arrange the cabbage rolls in the dish and pour the remaining sauce over the top.
Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour.
