Life is full of surprises, including unexpected visits from friends and impromptu gatherings (sometimes those are the best) that call for some quick and easy nibbles. Because our schedules are so busy, we find that having a few essential staples on hand can make it a breeze to whip up delicious treats for a fun night at home or any surprise guests who drop by. Here are some must-have items we try to keep in our pantry or kitchen for those spontaneous moments of hospitality:

1. Quesadillas: (easy and so tasty)
• flour tortillas (we like the all-natural uncooked https://www.tortillaland.com/)
• shredded cheese
• organic salsa
• pre-cooked chicken
With just a few minutes on the stove, you can create a tasty and satisfying snack that’s perfect for sharing with friends.

2. Chips and Dip: Stock up on shelf-stable essentials for a simple cheese and chip platter:
• cheese sauce
• organic salsa
• diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
• tortilla chips
• jalapeρos (optional)
This classic party favorite requires minimal effort and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Pair these two with:
3. Margaritas (simple, yet delicious):
• Tequila
• triple sec
• lime juice
• simple syrup
Mix together in a shaker with ice. Strain into salt-rimmed glasses filled with ice
and
Sparkling water with flavored syrups: Offer a variety of flavored syrups like raspberry, peach, or lavender to mix with sparkling water for refreshing mocktails.

4. Bruschetta: easy to make and so good), Toast slices of bread and top with a mixture of:
• diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
• garlic
• olive oil
• salt & pepper
• basil 5. Mixed Nuts: Roast mixed nuts with a sprinkle of salt and your favorite spices like cumin, paprika, hot honey or cinnamon. You can also drizzle some hot honey (a personal favorite) for a flavorful snack
