1️⃣ Marinate the Beef🥣: Slice the steak into 1 cm wide strips and place it in a bowl. In a food processor, blitz the onion, garlic, and ginger until it is a paste. Add the marinade and soy sauce to the beef and mix well. Marinate it in the fridge for 1 hour (or 20-30 minutes at room temperature). 2️⃣ Deep Frying the Beef🍳: After marinating, dust ½ cup of potato starch on the beef and coat loosely. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Heat up a heavy bottom pot with oil until hot. Deep fry the beef in small batches for 1-2 minutes, then remove. Double fry all the beef for another minute. 3️⃣ **Sweet & Sticky Sauce Time!**🥘: Remove oil from the pot, add all sauce ingredients except the corn starch slurry. Bring to a boil. Mix the corn starch with water, add to the sauce and thicken. Turn off the heat. Add in the crispy beef and coat with the sauce. Serve immediately with rice.
