1 sheet of frozen puff pastry dough
8 oz Gruyere cheese, grated
1 lb. medium thick asparagus, trimmed

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Roll puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a 16" by 10" rectangle.
Place pastry on 13"x18" sheet pan. Score the edge to 1" from edge of the rectangle. Pierce the dough inside the rectangle with a fork at approximately 1/2" intervals. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, until golden.
Remove shell from oven and sprinkle with grated Gruyere cheese. Place the asparagus spears on top of the cheese arranging in a single layer, alternating ends and tips.
Bake until asparagus is tender and cheese is melted, approximately 15-20 minutes.
