Crust:
½ c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour

Topping:
1½ c. pecan pieces
1 c. real butter
¾ c. brown sugar
1½ c. milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crust ingredients until mixed, press into a 9x13 inch pan.
Sprinkle with pecan pieces. Combine 1 c. butter and brown sugar in saucepan, cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. When rolling boil, cook 1 more minute, stirring constantly. Pour over crust. Bake 20-22 minutes at 350º until bubbly. Remove and sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Savannah played softball for many years growing up and it was so much fun to attend her games and watch her play! We brought these bars to her softball party in June of 2010 and my note on the recipe says "Great! A Keeper" so they must have been a Home Run!
