1 box Uncle Ben's Whole Grain & Wild Rice quick cooking rice seasoning packet
3 chicken legs quarters or whole chicken
1 c. onion - chopped
1 c. celery - chopped
1 c. carrots - chopped
2 small cans mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pkg. real bacon bits
1 large can chicken broth
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Stew chicken until cooked, drain, and set aside.

Once chicken is cool, remove all the good pieces discarding skin and bones.

Cook the rice per box directions, in the broth in another pan.

Add bacon to the cooking rice.

Microwave onion, celery, and carrots.

Add 2 c. water to cream of chicken soup and combine with veggies; add mixture to rice.

Cook covered on low-medium heat.

Season to taste. Contributor noted that he adds 2 T. minced garlic when stewing chicken.
