6 large sweet onions ( about 12 cups)
1/2 c. butter, cubed
2 c. crushed Ritz crackers
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. shredded Romano cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, saute onions in butter until tender and liquid has evaporated.

Place half of the onions in a greased 2 qt. baking dish; sprinkle with half of the cracker crumbs and cheeses. Repeat layers.

Bake uncovered at 350º for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
