1 cup raw pecans
1/4 cup + 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 jumbo onion, sliced thin
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/4 lb mushrooms, trimmed and sliced
1 ¼ teaspoons kosher salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 hard-boiled eggs

Place pecans in bowl and cover with very hot water. Let sit for 15 minutes. Carmelize onions, 10-12 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add mushrooms in batches, add sand cook for 8 minutes. Transfer to food processor. Add pecans
, 2 tablespoons oil, salt and pepper process until chunky smooth. Do not over process.
