1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 white onion, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
14.5 oz crushed fire roasted tomatoes
4 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 Package Three Cheese Tortellini (20 oz.)
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
(5 oz.) Shredded Parmesan Cheese for serving



Directions:
Directions:
1) HEAT olive oil on medium high heat. Add onions and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add the garlic and stir for about 30 seconds.

2) ADD ground sausage, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Mix well and cook until sausage is cooked through.

3) ADD crushed tomatoes, beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a boil then add in the tortellini.

4) LOWER heat and boil gently for 7 minutes. Add the basil.

5) TOP with shredded parmesan for serving.
