For one pie:
¾ c brown sugar
1 ½ c cold water
1 tsp lemon juice
1 T butter
3 T flour
1 ½ c raisins
pinch of salt

Pie crust for top and bottom of pie

Directions:
Directions:
In sauce pan, mix brown sugar and flour. Add remaining ingredients except butter and bring to boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and chill to room temperature. Pour into unbaked pie crust, then top with top crust, If desired, brush w egg or cream and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375º - 400º for 15 minutes. Turn down to 350º then bake another 20 minutes or well browned.
