Ingredients:  
Boil 2 quarts fresh cranberries in 6 cups of water until berries pop and are mushy.

Put through a strainer to juice.

Add:
4 cups sugar (more if needed)
Juice from 4 lemons
1 pint whipping cream

Mix.
Put in 1 gallon ice cream freezer -freeze.
Store in the freezer until ready to serve.

This recipe has been handed down from my grandmother.
We serve it as a substitution or in addition to cranberry sauce with our turkey at Thanksgiving.
