Personal Notes:
Robin writes: I will never forget the first time my Aunt Jeanne brought this dessert to our house for the first time because it was one of the best things I had tasted in my life. After discovering how she makes it exactly - with cream cheese and sour cream being the main ingredients - I couldn't quite understand how I liked it so much because I've never been a fan of those two things. I was very pleasantly surprised though and this made me realize that you don't necessarily have to like something on its own in order to like it as a working part. It is an original recipe from her and is sometimes referred to as a cheesecake It is often served with blueberries or strawberries on the side, giving one the choice whether to put them on top or not, but it would be a terrible mistake not to. The sour cream frosting on top is what really gives it a special flavor and is what goes so perfectly with fruit. Jeanne has brought it many times for holidays, and when she does, it has always been the thing I look forward to eating the most.
