Ingredients:  
1- 30 oz. bag of frozen hash-brown potatoes; squares not strips
⅓-½ c. chopped onion (depends on how much you like onions)
¼ tsp. ground black pepper
2- 14.5 oz. cans of chicken broth
1- 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
1- 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened
½ c. shredded cheese
cheese for the top

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients to a large pot (except for cream cheese and cheese) and mix well.
Cook on medium heat for 4 hours.
Add the cream cheese and ½ c. cheese at the end and cook for another 20-30 minutes.
Add some cheese on top of soup.
Enjoy.
