1 Cup of unsalted butter
1 Cup of Sugar
2 Eggs
2 TSP of Vanilla
3 1/2 cups of flour
1 TSP Baking powder
1/2 TSP Salt
Red and Green food dye

Directions:
Directions:
1 Cream butter sugar and vanilla until fluffy

2 Add eggs one at a time until incorporated

3 Add flour, salt and baking powder and mix until it forms a soft dough

4 Split dough in 1/2 and color each 1/2 using food coloring

5 Place dough on plastic wrap and pat out to 11 x 8 rectangle , repeat for second dough

6 Lay one dough over the other and remove plastic wrap

7 Roll into a log and refrigerate for 2 hours

8 Remove from fridge and slice into 1/4 inch slices and place on a cookie tray

9 bake at 375 until done
