Four strips of bacon, diced
One clove, garlic, minced
2 cups diced potatoes raw
One shredded carrot
One cup dry, white wine
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh
1-16 ounce can creamed corn
3 cups milk
1 cup half and half
2-6 1/2 ounce cans minced clams
1/2 pound bay shrimp or prawns (deveined/peeled)
1/2 pound white fish
1-6 ounce package king crab or 1/2 lb fresh (crab is optional)
1/2 cup chopped green onions.
2 teaspoons minced parsley.

Cook bacon in a large pot until crisp. Discard some of the fat, add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Add potatoes, liquid from clams, wine, salt & pepper, thyme and carrots. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Add creamed corn, milk, half & half, seafood, green onions & parsley. Heat to simmer 5 minutes or until seafood is done. Shouldn’t take long.
