1 tsp. baking soda
½ c. hot water
¾ c. oil
3 c. sugar
2 c. canned pumpkin
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
3-½ c. flour

FROSTING

1 stick butter
¼ box powdered sugar
Rind of one orange
1 T. orange juice

Directions:
Blend soda and hot water together. Mix oil, sugar and pumpkin to soda. Add all other ingredients. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Frost with butter frosting or serve with orange butter.
