360 milliliters (about 1 ˝ cups) basmati rice
1 tablespoon ghee or oil
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 ˝ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse rice. Soak for 30 minutes.

Heat ghee in a rice cooker using the slow cook setting if available. When melted, add in the cumin seeds and stir toasting for a few minutes until fragrant. Add in the rice and sauté for 3 minutes. Add water to the appropriate line of your rice cooker, usually two rice measuring cups. Stir in salt, cilantro, and cumin if using.

Switch to the white rice setting and cook.
