"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 angel food cake (store bought or home made)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
½ cup powdered sugar
10 oz. Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
1. Tear the angel food cake into pieces and line the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan with the pieces.

2. Mix the sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, and sugar in a bowl.

3. Fold the Cool Whip to this mixture.

4. Spread this mixture over the top of the angel food cake pieces.

5. Spread the cherry pie filling over the milk mixture.

6. Refrigerate until serving

This recipe can also be assembled as a trifle. Do steps 1 through 5 using half of the cake, then half of the milk mixture, and half of the pie filling in a trifle dish. Then repeat these steps again. This will result in a beautiful trifle presentation. Either way this recipe is assembled, it is delicious!
