Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
On September 6, 2003 we were living in the townhouse in Bristow, VA when Hurricane Isabel came through. Your dad was deployed on the USS Nimitz and so this was a big adventure for you kids and I. Jackson was particularly intrigued by the forecast and watched every bit of coverage he could. We bunkered down in the first floor of the townhouse when the storm hit and watched movies, ate these brownies and played games until everyone fell asleep. We could hear the wind howling and the lights flickered numerous times but we made it through unharmed and without losing power for an extended time. We when accessed the damage outside the next day, there were trees down and one had even fallen on the townhome next door to us. To remember the event, Grandma Yvonne had shirts made for you kids that said "I survived Hurricane Isabel". Memories were definitely created that evening!
