5-6 lb. fresh brisket of beef
1-14 oz bottle of catsup
1-12 oz container beer

Trim visible fat from brisket. Place meat in covered roasting pan. Bake 300* for 3 hrs. Pour off all juice & fat from pan. (Reserve this for other uses) Salt & pepper meat lightly. Combine and add catsup and beer. Cover and cook an additional hour at same temperature. Serve sauce separately in sauce boat. 6-8 servings. Serve with baked or boiled potatoes.
