1 dozen lady fingers, halved
¼ lb. Butter
2 ½ - 3 Tablespoons sugar
3 whole eggs
6 ozs. chocolate chips

Cream butter-add sugar, add whole eggs- beat well! Add slightly cooled melted chocolate. Sprinkle lady fingers with sherry. Layer fingers and chocolate mixture alternately, ending with chocolate on top. Refrigerate as long as possible (up to 24 hours). Top with whipped cream. Use loaf pan. Servings should be small as this dessert is rich. Serves 6-8. This recipe is from Mom’s friend Betty Weinshel. Mom marked the recipe card-VG (Rich)
