8 oz spaghetti (1/2 box)
1 lb ground beef
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce (sometimes I just use a regular 15 oz can of sauce)
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder (I double)
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook
beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, brown sugar, salt, chili powder, pepper, garlic powder
and cayenne. Drain spaghetti and add to the beef mixture. Transfer to a greased 9 x 13
casserole baking dish. Cover and bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
