Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6-8 chicken breasts (I use the thin sliced ones) cut in half
1 quart of buttermilk
Nashville seasoning (only found at Fry's)
Oil
1 c Flour
1 c Cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
You will need to tenderize your chicken if you use regular breasts. If using thin slices you will not need to tenderize.

Once chicken is tenderized and cut in half you will soak in buttermilk and 1/4c. (or more to your spice tolerance) of Nashville seasoning for 4 hours, refrigerate. Use all of the buttermilk except 1/2 cup ( you will need this to make a Texas sheet cake for dessert)

You will then drain buttermilk from chicken and dip into your flour, cornstarch, and 1/4 cup of Nashville seasoning (or more depending on your preference of spice) mixture and let rest for 5 minutes before cooking in oil.
Cook chicken until done.

For extra crispy after resting for 5 minutes re-coat the chicken and cook until done.
Once all chicken is done frying take 1/4 to 1/2 c of oil and place in a small bowl and add a tablespoon or two of brown sugar and baste both sides and serve.

Enjoy!
