Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
¼ cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
6 Tbsp chilled butter
½ cup mini cinnamon chips
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
⅔ cup buttermilk
2 tsp milk
cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Combine the flour, ¼ cup sugar, baking powder and salt. With a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in the butter until crumbly. Stir in the cinnamon chips. Measure buttermilk into a 1 cup liquid measure and add the vanilla bean paste. Stir with a fork to combine. Add vanilla buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients and stir with a fork until mixture holds together. Gather the soft dough into a ball and gently knead a few times on a floured surface. Pat dough into an 8 inch circle and cut into 8 wedges. Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Brush the tops with milk and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.

Personal Notes:
These go quickly! Instead of doubling the recipe, I make two batches, side-by-side. They're best served warm, but are still yummy if they last another day. Also, I buy extra cinnamon chips when I find them. Otherwise I get them from Amazon.
