"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Dad insisted that this bar be included, even though we rarely made them. You know how strong his Canadian roots are. This bar is a Canadian staple dessert. Dad recalls that as a boy they didn't eat a lot of treats and when they did these were the go to!! Hopefully you can give them a try and see why dad loves them and has fond memories. Enjoy!!
